Providing pre-hopsital and inter facility transport of patients from point of pickup to receiving facility. Practice within the scope of practice as established by the State where the flight originates and through Medical Direction. Maintain documentation as per established guidelines for treatment and care of the patient. Maintain licensure, certification, continuing education as well as safety and aviation training, OSHA, HIPPA training. Make sure all equipment is in working order and that all supplies are up to par levels as needed for bags and aircraft.
Arrive for work on time, attend pre-mission briefings as well as post flight debriefing, complete documentation in a timely fashion.
Works within the guidelines of patient care from pediatrics to adult, from trauma to medical situations with confidence and composure.
Must have 3 years experience in a busy 911 system. FP-C or CCP-C certification preferred. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and PhTLS or ITLS required. Must be already or capable of being licensed in all states that we serve.
NIMS 100, 200, 700 required.
High School diploma or GED required.
